The Guardian has just published a list of Top 10 Paris Cafes. From traditional favorites like Cafe de Flore in St. Germain to the newer, trendier Cafe Beaubourg near Centre Pompidou, this list presents some sure-to-please options. It’s a timely reminder that there’s nowhere more lovely to be in the Spring than Paris, preferably sitting at a cafe, wine glass in hand.
On that note, Clotilde Dusoulier, author of the immensely popular Chocolate & Zucchini blog, has written an article for Budget Travel showcasing seven off-the-beaten-path restaurants in Paris. While it’s hard to believe that any restaurant in the world’s most heavily touristed city could truly be unknown, it’s always a victory when you find someplace new, special and not teeming with the tour bus crowd.
There’s never a bad time for a trip to Paris, but this time of year is particularly special. As the flowers and trees bloom and Parisians cast off their winter coats, you’ll find locals and visitors alike clamoring to be outside enjoying the warmth and scenery. Bon voyage!

His blog is absolutely gorgeous, isn’t it? The “My Paris” section really does have some wonderful tips on dining in the city.
I hope he mentions Au Clair de Lune! One of my favorite restaurants in Paris. (Of the five or six I’ve been to… but still)
